To be honest, this episode was something God has been tugging at me to do for a while, and I've tried to put it off so as long as I could, but God has made it clear it's something I need to share. This episode, Elizabeth and I talk about my childhood and how I eventually came to Christ, and how growing up as an only child was all a part of God's perfect plan for my life so He could mold me. I talk about struggles I have with wanting everything in my control, but how, through closing doors, God has molded me, and not only did He close doors, but He opened better ones along the way. What I had thought were setbacks in my life were really setups to grow in Christ. Teaching me to lean not on my understanding but to rely on Him. Learning the difference between relationship and religion growing up at church. This episode made me reflect and really think that I'm not just doing good in life, but I am blessed. Christ has done so much for me. "For me to live is Christ and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21 It all started for me with the small book of James and setting my mind on Christ. "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." - James 1:12 ESV Conquer!!!
